Victoria & Butchart Gardens Day Tour

  • Gulf Islands Cruise: Begin with a 90-minute ferry crossing through the scenic Active Pass, offering chances to spot whales, seals, and eagles.

  • Butchart Gardens: Explore this 55-acre National Historic Site, featuring the iconic Sunken Garden, Rose Garden, and Japanese Garden.

  • Beach Drive Scenic Route: Enjoy a picturesque coastal drive along the shoreline, passing through upscale neighborhoods and rugged beaches on the way to the city center.

  • Victoria Inner Harbour: Arrive in the heart of the city for free time to explore these landmark locations:

    • The Empress Hotel: The city’s most famous "chateau-style" hotel, renowned for its traditional Afternoon Tea.

    • Parliament Buildings: Admire the grand neo-baroque architecture of the provincial seat of government.

    • Royal BC Museum: Visit one of the best natural and human history museums in North America.

    • Craigdarroch Castle: A stunning Victorian-era "bonanza castle" offering a glimpse into the life of a 19th-century coal baron. ( optional inside visit ) 

  • Return Ferry: Head back to the terminal for a 5:00 PM (or later) sailing to Vancouver, enjoying the sunset over the Georgia Strait.
